Kevin previously served as Managing Director of Governmental Affairs at Denton’s Law Firm (St. Louis & Chicago) within the Public Regulation & Public Practice Group for the State of Illinois. Additionally, Kevin functioned as the Director for Governmental Affairs in Illinois for the St. Louis Regional Chamber and Growth Association. His experience includes serving as a Senior Appropriations Budget Analyst for the Illinois General Assembly; Regional Supervisor for the U.S. Census Bureau in Special Population Counts and Decennial Counts for Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin; and Manager of Community Development for the East-West Gateway Council of Governments. 

 

Presently, he serves as Public Policy Council to the Leadership Council of Southwestern Illinois and the St. Louis Regional Chamber & Growth Association. In this role, he assists in the development of Metro East legislative policy agendas for several of business, municipalities and non-profits for the Southwestern Illinois Region. In 2007, Kevin was selected as one of 20 “Rising Stars of Southwestern Illinois”. In 2008, he was chosen by the St. Louis Commerce Magazine as a young outstanding business leader in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area for his work in the Illinois General Assembly representing regional companies. From 2004 – 2010, Kevin wrote a monthly column for the Illinois Business Journal highlighting the legislative activities of the General Assembly and the impact on Southwestern Illinois businesses. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southern Illinois University -Carbondale and Master of Public Administration from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.
